We have a piper down!
Jeff's sister, DeAnn, has been playing the bagpipes since she was 14, and is now the pipe major for the Utah Pipe Band. They had a concert last night at the University of Utah, so a big group of us went. It was a two hour show featuring classic Scottish tunes, as well as a few Christmas carols. They even had dancers. I never realised how loud bagpipes are, or how catchy the tunes can be.

I am contemplating learning them. YES they are loud... did you know that once they are being played, there is NO volume control at all, and no silent parts either, it is constantly making noise/music.
