It seemed like Monday's drive back from Vegas was extra long, probably because of a nasty combination of weather and traffic. I finally got home just after 7; but no more than ten minutes after I set my suitcase down, Neil and Kyle knocked on the door looking for drinking buddies to join them at The Republican. How could I say no?
As soon as we walked in the door, Neil bought us each an Irish Car Bomb, which I'd never had before, but was pretty tasty. John joined us for a while, too, and even though it wasn't a very late night, it wasn't a very sober night, either.
