Scattershot

Nearly everyone in my squadron got orders this week (except for the ones who already had orders, like me). For some reason, orders for people in my shop didn't come down until this afternoon. They've all been really excited and checking the personnel website five or six times a day. Oddly enough, most of them have RNLTDs (report-no-later-than-dates) earlier than mine. Roommate Ryan will be leaving for Korea in January (meaning I'll have to pay rent by myself for a month), and he's pretty excited. It's weird and kinda sad to see such a close shop like ours split up into so many different directions; but we've all dealt with it before, and we'll deal with it again.
