Grumpy Old Man

Lately, I find myself having less patience. Not with things like heavy traffic or waiting in line. Those kinds of things are part of life, and I enjoy moments with my thoughts and people-watching. I'm talking about patience with other people. It seems people are becoming less considerate. They take without giving. They talk without listening. They judge without knowing. It's becoming more frequent, and I get frustrated every time I see it. As my personality avoids conflict at all costs, I never say anything; but one of these days, my fuse is going to be a little short when someone steals one of my bottles of water at work, and then...it's all comin' down.
