More than a little inspired by McSweeney's Recommends, I've decided to make my own recurring feature here on the wax. It will be a series of plugs that, were I to receive any kind of financial compensation, would be considered shameless. However, since I'm not, these can just be considered things I really like. You can refer to them as "Mad Props."
For the inaugural run, I'm giving mad props to the new "Mint Mojito" flavour of Orbit Gum. I saw this at the supermarket the other day and, on a whim, picked up a pack. I had my first piece this morning, and, despite being a little heavy on the lime, really tastes like a mojito. Now, if they could only find a way to put some rum in there, too.
