Roommate Ryan left this morning for a class in Texas combined with vacation time in Colorado. He won't be back for six weeks. I've already taken over the living room and vowed to avoid episodes of CSI at all costs. All furniture is free of stray clothing. There will be no nauseating smells of sausage or tuna in the kitchen. I will take extra-long showers with no regard of using all the hot water. I'm going to leave my laundry in the dryer until I'm damn good and ready to fold it.
Despite all this, I'm gonna give him a big hug as soon as he walks in the door.
