Yesterday began with brunch at Red Rocks in SLC. Afterward, Katie, Kyle, John, Ryan, and I went shopping for a while at the Gateway. We went in Barnes & Noble because I have this thing about licking books written by people full of hate and judgement.
After that, we went into Z Gallerie where I took a little disco nap on the most comfortable chair in the world.
Then we took the train downtown to do a little shopping at Norstrom. My only justification was they were having their shoe clearance sale, and I was weak. Enough said.
We then went back to the Gateway because John wanted to go to the sports bar and watch the Mariners-Rockies game. Plus, we, um, had a bit to drink.
With that in mind, I'd just like to put this little public service announcement out there: never shop when you're drunk. It could be catastrophic.
After that, we all headed back up to Layton for a barbecue at Drew and Becky's place. While talking on the phone on the patio, I discovered that children's car seats aren't all that uncomfortable.
The rest of the evening seemed to revolve around taking pictures with my camera without me knowing about it, or...
...Katie's giant Hollywood startlet sunglasses, seen here on John.
And here on Drew.
And here on Becky.
And here on me.
There was also a drinking game, but I couldn't tell you what it was called. Or any of the rules. I think it involved cards and something about a little green man.
Drew tends to get a little grabby when he drinks. Becky didn't seem to mind, though. I guess that's what happens when you get married.
We knew the evening was drawing to a close when John passed out, mid-sentence, in the middle of the floor.
Yeah, this weekend has been pretty much non-stop fun. And the best part is, there's still two more days to enjoy!

The way we played it, you had to remember to "flick" the little green man off before you took a drink. It usually was a rule someone made up in another drinking game.
