Katie, John, Kyle, and I went to a Bees game last night. We had talked all afternoon about what to do last night, but nobody really wanted to make the decision, so we went to a ball game, and I'm glad we did. Ball games are always fun and they're cheap and they serve beer. What could be better?
One of the funnest parts is during the seventh inning stretch when we sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." If you don't sing along and really get into it, then you're a big stupid.
I made the responsible decision and didn't drink last night. Kyle, however, despite his pleas otherwise, was pretty drunk. Maybe not fall-down drunk, but obviously drunk enough to let me take his picture.
The Bees beat the Sacramento RiverCats (I thought cats hated water.), 4-2. It was the first time Katie had been to a game with us, and she really had fun. There's usually a home game, either in SLC or in Ogden, and it's good to know that if we're ever desperate for something to do, we can go watch some baseball.
